Troubleshooting & Reset Guide

If your RunBuds earphones are not working properly, please follow the steps below.

Factory Reset

For RunBuds Pro only. This will clear previously paired Bluetooth devices.

  1. Place both earphones in the charging case.
  2. Tap either earbud 3 times.
  3. Remove RunBuds Pro from your device’s Bluetooth settings, then pair again if needed.

Manual Reset

For RunBuds Pro only. Before starting, remove the existing Bluetooth connection from any devices your earphones have previously been paired with.

  1. Forget RunBuds Pro from your phone or Bluetooth device settings.
  2. Turn off Bluetooth on any nearby devices that may have previously connected to your earphones.
  3. Take both earphones out of the charging case and place them in your ears.
  4. Press and hold both touchpads at the same time for a few seconds until the earphones power off.
  5. Press and hold both touchpads again at the same time for 6–7 seconds, until you hear a beep in both earphones. Then release.
  6. Turn Bluetooth back on and pair with RunBuds Pro again.

Charging Check

Applies to all RunBuds models.

If the indicator lights do not appear when the earphones are placed in the charging case, please check the following:

  • Inspect the charging points on the earphones and inside the case, and gently wipe away any dirt or residue with a soft, dry cloth or tissue.
  • If the gold charging contacts are not visible, there may still be a protective film covering them. Remove this before use.
  • Charge the case using USB-C until the front of the case shows 4 lights.
